Giving to the Poor | Mynth Wanderers Session 45
3DM Notes: I made up the door puzzle on the spot, hence why it's an old classic. I also wasn't expecting the two players who went through the door to be the two who didn't know the solution. To be honest, I hadn't thought about that particular aspect of the tower during setup, but I wanted there to be some kind of challenge that would let them avoid the iron golem once I found out that only half of the party would potentially encounter it. That, and the stone golem fight the session before taught me that a golem on its own isn't a very interesting combat. However, despite the way Colin will keep bragging about getting the shield guardian, I knew perfectly well that the party would be able to steal it for themselves and worked with them to allow that to happen. On the other hand, I am grateful to this day that only Gruunash saw the Ki-rin in humanoid form.
