Hey guys, Tatiana Diana here for Clevver Movies with some very exciting news regarding our favorite blue friends! June 25th officially marks "Global Smurfs Day" dubbed by Columbia and Sony Pictures Animation. This glorious day is in honor of Smurfs creator, Peyo and to promote "The Smurfs" which will hit theatres July 29th.

So what exactly does "Global Smurfs Day" entail? Well, the studios plan is to gather the largest group of people dressed as Smurfs in a 24 hour period...hopefully resulting in a record for the Guinness book of World Records.
