an old times issue on GNOME Shell that trims the names on Dash, and in cases makes impossible to actually recognize the app

recently there was one more "complain" on Reddit about it:

also, there are is are 2 years old merge requests for multiple lines labels, but are closed ..for not very obvious (to me) reasons, but whatever
