You can't truly believe, if you don't question it. And if you question it in modern times, you inevitably come to the conclusion, that a lot of the bible is not to be taken literally. Reading it is one thing, but understanding it requires some background knowledge.
If it wasn’t for religion, the word atheist wouldn’t exist. We’d all just be normal, living normal lives, not believing in fairytales.
