Gods & Heroes on C64 (Rob's Retro Rambles)
Playing Gods & Heroes on the C64 (well, ok a C128, but it's in '64 mode) for the very first time. It occurred to me that, having now played an awful lot of Cuthbert games on the Dragon32, I really ought to have a look at some of Steve Bak's other titles as he made an awful lot of good games like Goldrunner and the James Pond series. But he also made a good lot of awfully bloody evil games, like this one for starters. I remember the Zzap review saying don't trust what it looks like, it looks terrible, and you'll think it's evil and stupid and unfair and then suddenly it'll click and it's great. Just ignore what it looks like and give it a go, so here I am...

Some people have said I should set up a tip jar, to help with cost of repairs and the like. As I can't really offer anything other than thanks I don't feel Patreon is particularly suitable, so I've set up this - https://ko-fi.com/gigerpunk
Absolutely no obligation, I'm not doing any content just for people who pay and not doing adverts of any kind, it's just there for those who'd like to help out occasionally.
