66Don't be fooled, I don't really own a copy of the Japanese version, nor do I have an ISO of the Japanese version. Instead, I used a previously undiscovered cheat code to change the game's language to Japanese.
I believe I'm correct in assuming there is no language select in the game, so it looks like I must have found a debug cheat. However, I wasn't looking for a way to play the Japanese version, I was actually trying to find a way to enter a debug mode in the game. I was looking through the VOL file again and noticed references to Godzilla 1954 and Mechagodzilla 1974 underneath some debug text, so I was just curious as to what the debug mode looked like. Unfortunately, it appears I may have been wrong in assuming those references were actually referring to a hidden debug mode, but at least I found a way to access the Japanese version of the game.
