Goemon Shin Sedai Shuumei (Playstation) Part 1, Worlds 1 And 2
4This is a good japanese only exclusive game in the Mystical Ninja series. I just returned to this game many months later so had to remember the controls again as well as replay the first world, since I lost the recording back then. One thing to note is that sometimes you need to use the hammer character to break certain blocks. You can switch characters by hitting select on the overview map or during regular levels, but not boss fights. The hammer character can do a strike that breaks blocks with one of the face buttons. Play time today was around 1 hour 28 minutes but dont remember how long the first stage took me the last time I played, plus I had to redo that stage today. Sloppier performance on the ninja boss of the first world, since I save/load stated on the emulator and kept my weapons, as I had beaten this stage before and was just getting the footage to make the playthrough complete. So I sped things up a little for that boss. Beginning of the second world has sloppier playing as well, since that is where I picked up the game again after months, and was relearning the controls. I redid the first world after beating world 2 today.
Deaths edited out. Game has unlimited continues and you can even backtrack to shops and return back to the exact checkpoint you left off at, at any time. Or replay previous stages. Losing all lives seems to only affect coins you aquired on that continue.
