Going Down The Rabbit Hole With Alice VR in the Oculus Rift CV1
Today I'm taking my first look at the new Sci-fi VR exploration and puzzle game Alice VR. In my opinion the game is not as bad as some of the reviews are making it out to be and the graphics are pretty good as it was created in the Unreal Engine. There are a few reflection issues in the beginning but they are not enough to make the game a bad experience. The sound is also great and the ambient background music was nice and relaxing. I really liked the fact that the developers chose to use traditional FPS style controls for this game, so there is no snap turning or teleportation here! I do caution new users who might not have their VR legs to take this one slow and easy. There were a few sections that I could see might wreak havoc on some peoples stomachs. Overall Alice VR felt nice and polished and was a good experience with some decent eye candy in VR so if your looking for something new to add to your expanding VR library I would recommend giving this one a look.
The game is available for both the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive.
