Going Medieval: Blackness – EP7: The Mark of War
Welcome to episode sevem of Going Medieval: Blackness, the infamous prison castle. This series is a Standard Hard Difficulty, focused on exploring the prisoner, roles, and events mechanics.
In this episode the inhabitants of Blackness continue to fortify Blackness with towers and siege engines. More join via the rehabilitation process, and extensions are made to the castle to add bedrooms for the growing population. We invest in making Greek fire ourselves, a trail and error process, and we eventually build our guardian angel: a trebuchet we call Redmund (named after our fallen brother). We share our prosperity with our allies, who expand to include old foes. Our master blacksmith Michel forges the finest swords for our swordsmen, making them two of the most feared combatants in the land. All this comes to a crescendo when the River Bandits traverse our mountains in the snow to pay us a final visit…
