Classes without area of effect skill or lack of it are bad use on Whitaker Forest, Heartwood dungeon since they just slowing down your party farm.

So the classes better off farming experience for ranks especially cross skill unlock on dungeons with strong monsters. One by one kill. It also give you a nice farming time with those kind of classes including pirate.

I remembered unlock my Ninja cross skill at frostvale seasonal dungeon. The one with mini snowmans and Yettun boss.
