Goodbye Echo | Changing My Minecraft Skin
42I made Echo my Minecraft skin on Sep 9th 2019. I decided I wanted to have a character for Minecraft (as I had a character for many other games at the time) cause I liked to make characters in games as another way to express myself but really, it was to kind of hide behind a character to be honest
It wasn't until 2021 when I realized I would rather be ME than all these characters id been making. While I still love all the characters I've made and will honestly really miss Echo. (hence why I HAD to give her a hug lol even though its technically ME it didn't ever feel like me, which was my reason for making characters. when I played a game I didn't wanna feel like myself I thought that was boring lol)
But when I finished this big long series on my channel about us moving, and all the changes in my life. I took a look at my channel and saw EVERYTHING I wanted to change suddenly, and then along came all of you guys shortly there after lol. Which made me only want to change things EVEN MORE!
If you guys ever stumble upon me in a game. I want you to see ME. not some character I made when I was 19 lol. So while I do still love Echo and could still see myself playing as her for many MANY more years, I think it's time to finally just be ME. PLUS Echo was made when I was still "Wildwolf6200" as to why she is a wolf. It just made sense at the time. and now in my life, it just doesn't make sense anymore as "ProbablyNotRocky"
I know not many of you (if any of you lol) care about ANY of this but to me I just wanted to pay tribute to this character I made. She was special to me. I'm sure a lot of you out there have characters you've made and grown attached to as if it were a person you knew. And we all put a little bit of ourselves into the characters we create. Thats what I did with Echo. and I'm going to miss that character I created with her.
I know this all sounds kinda dumb lol but I just wanted to say goodbye in the only way I know how. a video montage! lol
So Goodbye Echo. I'm sure this wont be the last time we see you but I'm just ready to finally be. me. I'll see you on the Otherside.
