Goodbye Valheim. End of a series. On to better things.
Frankly, before this glitch/bug appeared we had lost a lot of our fun anyways.
Before this series, we had played Valheim right after it was released in Early Access. We really enjoyed playing but the ridiculous notion that you can't go through the portal with raw metal ores killed the game for us. You can go through portals wearing full metal gear and weapons, but you can't carry ore through?
Admittedly, we knew before recording this second series that this was still the case: the devs never changed it. We had mistakingly hoped that our fun could trump this annoyingly dumb part of the game. We were wrong.
We don't mind a grind. Heck, Mud even loves a good grind but not when a grind is artificially put in place because the devs fail to make a game's progression somewhat logically linked to the resources required.
We also know why this was never changed. The moment the devs would change this, the game would collapse as most people can probably finish the entire game within 24 hours. It's a forced "solution" to make the game appear more difficult than it really is.
We know that this short/text might rub the diehard Valheim fans the wrong way but we'll take that in stride.
The bug clearly visible in this Short was the final straw. It wouldn't have been too difficult to respawn and pick up the gear again, but, we're just done with Valheim.
