Google faces 2 cases in Russia for not removing banned content

Russia's communications regulator has said it has drawn up two administrative cases against Google for failing to remove banned information from YouTube. It said Google could be fined up to $91,533, or as much as 20% of its annual revenue in Russia for repeat offences. Last week, Russia said Facebook-parent Meta was guilty of "extremist activity".
