Gotta Build Fast! Appreciation for a Parting Gift 送別ギフトの感謝
212022 Was not an easy year for me on a personal note. Lots of change and upheavals of my relatively hectic work life balance simply trying to survive. For personal reasons I needed to transition on to a different place of work. It was refreshing to know that no matter where my next chapter would take me that I was still appreciated and supported by those closest to me as I moved on to bigger and better things.
I was really moved by the kindness and support of many but especially by my Juniors who I had to leave behind knowing that they never forgot the small windows of opportunity when I took the time to encourage and teach what I know so that they can too could be better artists and know how to properly self promote and defend their own self worth. Working conditions in certain industries are not kind/fair to everyone. The needs of the individual are secondary to the corporation in some aspects. For the sake of future generations of ARTISTS especially, juniors must always know where and how they have potential, remember to train daily, know that they have the power to motivate everyone else in all fields and to continue to always have hope.
In this video which I shot some time way earlier in the year I am therapeutically enjoying my parting gift that my coworkers gave me weeks after I left my previous company. Of all the things they could have possibly gotten me, knowing that I am a huge fan of Legos and now most recently millions knowing I am a huge fan of Sonic, it is insane how perfect this gift was. It is currently on display in my little hobby corner in my very small Japanese apartment but it means the entire universe to me.
2022年は個人的に人生でかなり大変な一年でした。良い生活になる為にと頑張りましたが人生は凄い激しい浮き沈みがいっぱい。人生のバランスを取戻す為家族関係と個人の理由で突然な転職も決めました。新しい挑戦にどこ行っても長年と短期間でも知り合った先輩や後輩たちにもフールサポートで色々なプロセス中に心強い応援を頂けたのは大変感謝しております。
特に一番感動したのが後輩たちからの応援だったです。作業をやりながら、空いている時間に一人ずつにどの「レベル」でも励みながら何のスキルを勉強すれば良いとか職場に関して自分が一番大切のお宝ですと出来るだけ教えられたかった。時期が不安定な時にやめた悪い僕でしたが、後輩たちの何年も前からの激励と手伝いを一切忘れてなかったです。今のところ、次の戦いでも一人ずつ自分の価値があるところを一切忘れてなかったです。場所にもよりますがこの業界は特に労働環境が優しくないところがある。ニーズの側面にもよるけども時々個人の部分より会社の部分が一番優先されている。今後、あなたたちへのインスピレーションのため、特に将来のアーティスト世代、若者のアーティスト後輩たちにこの4点を覚えておいてほしい：
いつもどこかに自分がポテンシャルや価値がある。
毎日何かを訓練しよう。
将来に人々のモチベーションが自分の作品で動かせてもらう。
希望を失うな！負けたらアカン！
この動画で自分のセラピーみたいにほぼ半年前転職した数週間あとで楽しくてレゴを作っております。送別ギフトを秘密で選んだことに関して同僚が僕がレゴ大好きとソニックも大好きを知っていたのでさすがにコレKORE！を買うのが怖いレベルぐらい一番素晴らしい選択でした。小さい日本のマンションの別部屋のホビーコーナーにディスプレイショーケースの中に配置しております。スペースは小さいですがいつでもあくまで宇宙いっぱい深い感動気持ちを感じております。感謝し切れません。
