Code Vein is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian setting with vampire themes, including "gifts" from the consumption of blood, and other supernatural abilities.

Code Vein is an action role-playing game set in an open world, post-apocalyptic dystopian environment and played from a third-person perspective. Its gameplay is inspired by the Dark Souls series of games, also published by Bandai Namco.

Set in the near future, catastrophic strikes known as the Thorns of Judgement wreak havoc upon the world. In a closed-off land called "Vein", vampiric revenants fight for and against one another over supplies of blood in order to hold on to their sanity or risk becoming feral if they don’t consume blood.

The game was announced in April 2017 and was originally set to be released in September 2018, until being delayed until September 27, 2019.The game's opening sequence was created by animation studio Ufotable
