The MSRP for both RTX 40 and RDNA 3 RX 7000 GPUs have been criticised by many PC hardware enthusiasts, but GOOD NEWS as GPU prices are crashing! We examine the reduced pricing for RX 7900 XTX, RX 7900, RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and HUGELY discounted GPUs with RDNA 2 and RTX 30 graphics cards. But, we also have the low - mid range GPUs coming out from AMD soon, with the RX 7800, RX 7700 & RX 7600. According to reports, these cards will not only offer competitive hardware specs, but will also be very competitive in gaming and ray tracing performance, but more importantly - they will be CHEAP. But do the current gen graphics cards offer enough of a discount?
We examine the MSRP prices for the RDNA 3 RX 7000 mid/low end, the overall prices of graphics cards declining across Nvidia and AMD cards, the price for the RTX 4070 specifically, and some very interesting stacked DRAM tech teased by AMD at their ISSCC 2023 presentation.
