Thoughts:

Kicking off my return to runs with something I've wanted to do for years: Graces.
This run started life as a Hubert solo around 4 years ago and morphed into an Asbel solo earlier this year. It of course hasn't been in the works for all those years; it got dropped somewhere around 2017 iirc, but all the leg-work with setting up save files for all of the bosses was 90% done at that point.
I started working on Asbel earlier this year and it's now been completed, so you'll be seeing daily uploads until the run is over. It only spans the main arc but the F arc might come at a later date, we'll see.

About the actual boss, then. Nova Wolf feels like something between a boss and a regular enemy. Some A-artes that are normally very inconsistent work fine against him (Wolfwind Fang, Wing Crusher) but you also can't just chain artes willy nilly. It's nice that you have more freedom at the very start of the run, but it could also lead to bad habits if you keep expecting future bosses to function the same way.

Finally, this run makes use of a trick called "arte skipping."
When you input Guard, A-Arte, and an arte shortcut at the same time when an arte is about to end, Asbel can use B-Artes without drawing his sword first. The "skipping" refers to the fact that these B-Artes take the place of an A-Arte as far as the arte tree is concerned, meaning you can use it after a 2CC A-Arte and "skip" to the 4CC A-Arte. It's possible to use even after a 1CC arte or while idling. You can also perform multiple arte skips after each other.
This opens Asbel up considerably and makes him very fun to play, but the downside is that the input requires great timing and practice in order to use it consistently.
This explanation will be moved to an "FAQ" section in future videos. This section will be updated if more questions arise during the course of the run.

And yes the video quality is really bad, I know.
