I had ideas for more videos but this was probably the only one that I remembered. My love for this game series (and retro games in general) even urged me to make this video, so I did it.

This is a gameplay of the Bubble System version of Gradius, emulated with MAME 0.248. Played on easy. It is easy, but then it turns into a bullet hell. Even I can't get past this game without savestates.

If it comes to arcade-perfect ports, I was able to beat the Sega Saturn version. I played it on Saturn Easy. (Good job with the difficulty name there.) Since the other ports of Gradius Deluxe Pack and Gradius Portable are the same, I can beat the game on the easiest difficulty on those versions as well.

Yes, I played the original Bubble System version because I absolutely love the Morning Music. I bet many others here have, but at least we can listen to a full loop of this song before you're thrown into the game.

Absolutely loving the game mechanics of this game. I love shooting at a bunch of things with my laser. I love getting the Options to shoot with me. I love getting the power capsules, even if it means I'm trying to reserve the power meter for my next shield, and am still tempted to get them no matter what.

The Gradius series is my most favorite shoot 'em up series at this point. It's my favorite game series in the shoot 'em up genre overall, even dethroning Contra as my most favorite Konami franchise. (Sorry.)

I may upload a video of me doing the volcano trial in Gradius III if this video gets 573 likes.
