Graham Farish 371-350 | Class 60 Diesel Locomotive | 60052 EWS | N Scale | Model Train Review | HD
Here is my first N scale model train review video to kickstart the New Lunar Year of the Water Rabbit 2023 with. This is my model train review of the Graham Farish by Bachmann Class 60 that is numbered as 60052 named as Glorfa Twr in the EWS Maroon/Gold livery. The reference number is 371-350.
This model has a unique history about it because when I bought this back in 2022. The original chassis was knackered to say the least but the model train bodyshell was in excellent clean condition for its age. The replacement chassis not only was lightly weathered that does add a nice contrast to this N scale model train.
The replacement chassis also has Class 60 DCC sound and at the time I did this video. My Roco MultiMaus was packed away as I wasn't expecting this replacement chassis to have a sound decoder in it. So that was a nice surprise and a blessing to me if anything. I have no idea who makes the sound or the decoder as its wired into the chassis and I am not going to upset anything to find out.
There is a sugar cube speaker installed and it is LOUD but not deafening though. Its just one of those model trains with sound that will make its presence felt and it does sound great. It might be Legomanbiffo or Hause DCC sound, I don't know of any other Class 60 sound brand in N scale. But I do not that its not OliviasTrains as they sound different to this but its definitely a Class 60 and it sounds great!
This model train was released back in 2009 and I did some running videos of this model but never got around to doing a full review of this super awesome model of the Graham Farish/Bachmann Class 60 in EWS livery until now.
The Farish Class 60 is a nice model overall and this is the first generation model of its kind as you would need to hardwire a decoder into the circuitry to make this usable on DCC if not already fitted with DCC like this has installed. There is directional lights and the tail lights work on a function key I believe but no working marker lights on this one.
