Graham Farish 372-850 | Class 769 BEMU 769008 Transport for Wales | N Gauge | Review | HD
Here is my first model train review to come for December 2022 and which will be the final month of the Year of the Train. Here I am reviewing the all new Graham Farish/Bachmann Class 769 BEMU that is the "Flex" unit as 769008 in the Transport for Wales livery. The reference is 372-850 and this is a very nice N gauge model train pack.
The N scale model train has directional lighting, interior lighting Next18 DCC compatibility as well as an extensive amount of detail. The model has the coreless motor mounted into the former pantograph coach and there is all wheel drive on the 8 axles in the motor car.
Performance is great all round and this model is almost silent running when in use. The Class 769 model from Graham Farish/Bachmann is a very nice smooth runner and the handling can be seen in the video. There is no jerkiness when moving off or slowing but if you use a DCC decoder in this model. You may have to alter some CV's to allow the decoder to handle the motor better under fine control.
Overall Rating: 10/10.
