I played the original version on the Sega Saturn a few years before I got to play the PSX version. Both are great games with some differences. The battle scenes between both have striking differences. I still prefer the Saturn version for it's higher framerate and fully 3d battle backgrounds, but the Playstation version is still nice as well. As you will notice, the voice acting has been replaced by the Saturn version. Great game still.
