After showing off this game's well-done tutorial, it's time to actually PLAY IT!
----------

Here's a summary of the game's opening story:

A long time ago, in a world entirely inhabited by sentient robots, a digging operation of them had unearthed a strange structure dubbed The Ark.

And not too long after this occurrence, a new evil emerged and ravaged everything: The Virus Army!

A special force was called forth to defeat this destructive threat: The Guardian Corps. With them, they unleashed 9 heroic combat robots upon the Virus Army called Circuits.

However, even with their might, the battle against the Virus Army was a long and devastating one. Nearly all of the Circuits had fallen by the time victory was theirs..

All except for one: The Gravity Circuit known as Kai.

He was barely alive by the time the rest of the Guardian Corps were able to find him, but they were able to take him in and nearly repair him back to his former glory. However, he was still unable to come back online...

Until many years later... when the Virus Army attacked once more!

Like a phoenix rising from its own ashes, the Gravity Circuit finally regained all of his strength, and now raced towards the attacked city to fight against the Virus Army... alone...
----------

As explained in the tutorial video, you have quite a few combat and movement options in this game, and it feels so good to flow them together back-to-back.

The Check Points in this game are also healing spots, assuming you pay for the heals they have, that is, and they get slightly more expensive with each use.
----------

A bit later through this stage, Kai meets a shrouded figure and rescues him. For now, he wants him to continue on towards the Guardian Corps HQ to possibly learn more about the Virus Army's latest attack.

As a thank you, he gives Kai his first Burst Technique: Flying Strike.

All Burst Techniques can be equipped for use like a Special Attack in Super Smash Bros.: Neutral, Up, Side, and Down can be applied with any Burst Technique you gain.

Flying Strike will automatically be equipped to all four slots, but it feels like it could fit most as a Neutral or Side Technique.
----------

Eventually, Kai reaches Guardian Corps HQ, and just in time to rescue one of its members from another enemy...

This enemy was Cable, who happened to be one of the other Circuits just like Kai is. Kai doesn't seem to remember him too well beyond his name, but then Cable left to leave Kai to contend against a massive boss: Wrecker Tank!
----------

This first boss isn't hard to beat, though I needed to stop taking so many hits from it. Watch it for its mouth machine gun, spiked arms, and both its grounded and flying charge attack.

Aim for its head!
----------

After the Wrecker Tank was wrecked, Kai was called over to the robot he just saved. His name is Kernel. It was time to reeducate him on how the Guardian Corps work.
----------

After beating a stage, you get graded for it based on different aspects of your performance.

How many objectives did you complete in the Mission?

How fast did you clear the stage against the Clear Time?

How many Enemies did you scrap against the quota of such?

How many times was Damage Taken during the stage against the limit?

There may be more of these later, but the better you do, the more money you get, and the money is used for more than just Check Point heals.
