Gravity Factory Reanimated
19This project was made to reanimate a Flipnote created by a user named LordBoop many years ago. The Flipnote is really nostalgic to me and I thought it'd be a cool idea to work on while I was searching for the original, as I considered it to be lost media. Even though I didn't animate THIS in Flipnote's software, I tried what I could to make it look as authentic as I could to the source material.
"Gravity Factory" is a name I've always remembered this Flipnote by, and I don't even know if it got an official name back then. The background track is a mashup of the Gravity Falls theme song with vocals from a fan-made MLP:FiM song, "Rainbow Factory", hence why I added a couple bits of FiM visuals in the later half. The story, as far as I can tell, is describing Bill Cipher (villain) possessing Dipper Pines (protagonist 1) and taking him somewhere secret for Bill's own plans. However, Dipper's sister, Mabel (protagonist 2), hunts the two down and stops Bill, saving Dipper and allowing them to escape.
As of now, I have a video file of the original in full, and while this IS good enough, I do think it'd be nice to get the Flipnote's .ppm file uploaded / saved somewhere for the sake of internet archival (preferably Sudomemo so it's available ON the Flipnote platform). Going off of how big an impact Flipnote left on creative communities and groups, I don't doubt that others might be looking for their own potentially-lost Flipnotes.
