Greedfall - The Review - WHY is This Game Getting Praise
3,677I wanted to like Greedfall. I DO like some aspects of Greedfall a great deal... but holistically the game bit off more than it could chew. In cities, you will literally see clones of the same NPC walking around, you will see dozens of replicas of the same building, and even the same rock ledges and ramps in the wilds.
For its team size (of about 30) its a fantastically ambitious game, deserving of praise.... for its price tag? It is inadequate and undercooked. I find myself struggling to understand the massive level of praise it is currently receiving.
Something I forgot to mention in the video but is well worth making note of... the decision to add a transition camp with crafting table, vendor and companions to the fast travel process is VERY much appreciated and helps decrease the monotony of loading times as you bounce around like a ping pong ball.
