***correction - coffeine is a green coffee derived caffeine, not green tea as stated in the video***
Today we take a look at Grenade Energy. You've probably heard of them from their Carb Killa bars and supplements, but this is the first RTD (ready to drink) energy drink we've seen from them, so we're excited to try it!
It's a 330ml can with no sugar. It also has 155mg caffeine, so a much higher concentration than average (47mg/100ml vs 32mg/100ml) but still weighs in with *slightly* less caffeine than a regular 500ml energy drink (160mg). It has a small, but measured amount of BCAAs (1.5g) and also contains electrolytes. No flavour is listed.
We found this in the SPAR for £2.50, but it was on offer together with a Carb Killa bar for £4. Whichever way you cut it though, it's certainly on the expensive side.
