Grid Autosports winlatorXR on Meta Quest 3
2thanks to winlator, now Quest finally have decent racers... literally countless greats from the past. years before Grid Legends and its sad potatization for VR on Quest 2, there was this beauty just at the turn from PS3 to PS4 era. it was also ported to mobile and Switch so I guess possible on Quest emulated... indeed it is, but performance is not as good as Dirt 3 squarely for the previous generation...
anyway, even with reShade depth 3D, it still mostly hovers around 20-30fps during races, and quite smooth over 30fps when solo on tracks. and what gorgeous tracks, details, particles and shininess mostly denied to games that need to be 72fps at way higher resolution and fit in tiny indie budgets...
anyway, settings and even 3D crosseye replays captured here - tho I guess when I swapped views I should've cranked up the stereo separation... ah
