Guardians Frontline UGC multiplayer fun
GF recently got update 8 - I didn't know this, other lesser game got me back into it.

it's surprising that a VR game first made available in EA way back in 2021 is still going on a thriving, but so is the nature of our favorite hobby niche. Well, I'm glad for it as it makes me realize I overlooked it for far too long.
in my first days of VR back in 2018, I played a lot Rec Room. it looked like a landscape made of cardboard. and yet imagination filled in the gaps and VR presence made those feel like real places. How far we've come. RR was still mainly made with pcvr in mind and despite later growing much more on phones, sadly performance only degraded on Quest. Now Guardians Frontline and a couple others like Pop1 offer much better graphics and performance on Quest with also so much more action going on in just as amazing user-generated content maps with full game logic made easy. You need no pc to design these and thanks to real time shadows from sunlight, environments never look as washed out and dull like most inexperienced indie games on Quest.
and this really brings home the problem with most bad sales for VR games on Quest: when you have so many cheap ways to get UGC that looks great and play better and have more action and sheer freedom than in most Quest native titles, it's time to reevaluate your priorities...
I was deeply impressed with the sheer scale, action and even forests I rarely see in native Quest games! in maps easily created by users themselves. devs who can't do better and offer such wild freedoms should just give up...
