In my own opinion, this game did indeed feature dialogue and scenarios similar to what I've heard some of my other Chinese born peers grow up with. It wasn't everyone nor was every situation 100% same but I would bet it's still interesting and funny to other gamers from different cultural backgrounds.
In your culture, is there also the concept of "losing face?" That is something I can VERY much relate to having grown up with- but have you dealt with it as well? Is it common in your culture???
