It's my very first Kirblog of 2018! Sort of continuing the path of last year's Pokecember, not only is this a semi-review of Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon (as well as for Sonic Forces and Mario Odyssey) but it's also a slightly deeper topic about my evolving outlook on various game franchises I've followed for the last 20+ years. On this Kirblog, I talk about my ideals involving growing up with a game series and enjoying it for what it is, growing OUT of a game series and losing the attachment to it you once had, and finally growing OLD with a game series that perfectly strikes the balance of evolving in a way that surprises and captivates you again and again.
