Gruul Ramp 2.0 has ARRIVED! | Pauper Tournament and Deck Tech
140In today's video, we're bringing a Gruul Ramp deck from the MTGO user "hjc" to the Fuguete League community tournament. Parts of this deck will be familiar if you've seen Gruul Ramp since Modern Horizons 3 dropped: no land destruction and a greater focus on mid-sized creatures. However, two cards are brand new to the deck. Bannerhide Krushok was hyped in the Modern Horizons 2 limited environment, but until last month, it never saw much play in Pauper. Bushwhack is a brand-new Pauper downshift from Foundations, which provides flexible land fetching or removal. Overall, the addition of both cards shore up some of the weaknesses of Gruul Ramp. Let's find out if that's worth the decrease in explosiveness, since we're not running Annoyed Altisaur. Thanks for watching!
