NOTE: Dig holes into any surface and pull up mushroom blocks. Any grass you manage to uproot will also become mushroom blocks. The surface you pick up will determine the block you drop. For instance, the top of a pot can be carried around and dropped, without losing its properties (you can always go down into it). You can't drop blocks in front of background objects.
