Overview
The Nissan GT-R Proto '05 is a concept car unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, which served as the basis for the future production model, the R35 GT-R. This prototype appears in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Gran Turismo 5, and Gran Turismo 6.

Design and Features
The GT-R Proto '05 inherits the characteristics of past GT-R models while sporting a powerful appearance distinct from the super sports cars of the time. The front design and roofline are different from the production model, and the car was designed with aerodynamic performance in mind. It's also the only premium car whose interior isn't modeled in-game, as the actual prototype was a static model.
