Recently, I was watching a video of a tune up on some random car.
The dude doing the commentary said that flat floors make your car slower.
I didn't know what to think, so here's my little experiment.

The first run is with a standard floor, and then you can see me change absolutely nothing about the car besides the flat floor, so there are no other variables in the second run.

The findings were - the flat floor slows you down a considerable amount, and on my Mazda RX-8, the flat floor decreased my top speed by about 20%, which is a MASSIVE difference.

Conclusion - DO NOT PUT A FLAT FLOOR ON YOUR CAR!
