NFS Prostreet First Race + Introduction
15I felt like going on prostreet, and I started a new career, and actually sat through the introduction video. I don't remember there being that much racing in that cutscene, it's actually pretty good, so I thought I'd share it with you.
Prostreet, to me, was the last good need for speed. The handling of cars wasn't perfect, it was just bearable. After prostreet is when Need For Speed got bad. To me. Prostreet was good because of the tuning options, the ability to customize your cars with a good range of parts and vinyls, and once you got the hang of the heavy steering, you could take your pride and joy for a very quick drive. Progression was everything in this game. From the start, the very first cutscene, you're supposed to hate RYO, who, to be honest, is cocky and arrogant and is clearly showing signs that he's worried about his title. So you take it from him in the end, obviously. Since prostreet, there hasn't been any progression and that bores me so much. I want an awful storyline to go with my crazy driving for no reason, other to buy a faster car.
Anyways, the first race is pretty easy because your 240SX is quite a bit more powerful than everyone else's cars, and the handling is better than theirs. And I'm quite sure I play on the hardest difficulty, before you ask.
