474Rockstar Games has made an official response to GTA 5 being banned from Kmart & Target in the country of Australia. After a recent petition from a group of Australian feminist caused quite the stir of controversy lately, these retail stores believed it was in their best interest to remove the games from their shelves. With over 40,000 supporter signatures, these woman blame Grand Theft Auto 5 and it's developers for producing a game that depicts "violence against woman." Thankfully, the community has gone to social media to get their points and support for Grand Theft Auto 5. Earlier in the day, an official statement from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick was dropped in a recent article interview which comes to no surprise after such outcry from the feminist demographic. Like one would imagine, Rockstar Games supports their games and isn't on the same sides as these retail stores who have dropped their product from being stocked. Nonetheless, it appears that if you're a gamer inside of Australia, you're used to such panic over video-games. Over the recent years, many news stories like this have circled the gaming community and usually don't get resolved.
