This mission is all about the chopper, so if you are not good at flying you will have alot of trouble. For the basic controls, R2 button on the PS4 lifts your helicopter up and keeps you ascending higher, L2 will make your chopper descend or otherwise fly lower. Then you can use your left stick of course to maneuver, but this also affects whether you pitch and roll, so there is another way to aim or turn. You can press R1 to swivel right, and L1 to swivel left which is extremely important as it allows you to keep flying at the exact same level without having to dive or roll the way you are turning. You can think of it as hovering in place at the same altitude while having the ability to rotate your aim. Its important NOT to use the right stick too much because this moves your camera angle, not actually any turning ability. It definitely does not feel intuitive with this setup so it takes a while to get the hang of flying if you haven’t practiced it before. Don’t worry if you don’t get it the first time. You’ll want to make your way to the airport near the water so just keep aiming for the yellow marker on your mini-map. Obviously the straighter your line of flight, the most direct your travel will be and the more time you will save.

So basically aim your square sights at the closest incoming chopper and try to keep him directly in your line of view. When you get close enough you will hear the lock on start to activate and you will see a visual cue. When your square turns RED, that is when you fire and I suggest using both missiles at once just to make sure you get the kill. It really doesn’t hurt since reloading is relatively quick if you only engage 1 chopper at a time. The tricky part is having proper control of your chopper so you are always lined up on your target and staying within range. If you let the enemy gain too much distance, they will take out Madrazo’s man you are trying to protect. So try to stay as close to him as possible. The other tricky part is sometimes the enemy will fly right past you and start circling you, raining down bullets and causing some serious damage. You’ll need to quickly re-orientate yourself so you’re looking directly at your target and then get that all important RED lock on and fire. Even at close range I prefer the missiles since they are heat seeking while the machine gun bullets must be aimed manually.
