SH8 is a very versatile and easily customizable color correction mod. For those who don't like extreme color correction: don't worry, just a few clicks and you can add another color scheme that is more subtle, has more saturation, less contrast, whatever you like. Also, change the game's brightness can highly improve your experience with these color correction mods and color schemes. Solano, author of the mod has optimized it, so that performance is only affected a little bit. Download and install instructions are below.

SH8 ist eine sehr vielseitige und einfach anzupassende Mod zur Farbkorrektur. Für all jene, die dieser Art von Mods skeptisch gestellt sind: mit bloß ein paar Klicks lässt sich ein anderes Farbschema installieren, etwa eines mit weniger Kontrast, höherer Farbsättigung, Blaustich und vieles mehr. Durch verändern der Helligkeit im Spiel lassen sich die verschiedenen Farbschemata / Farbschemas noch subtiler anpassen. Außerdem hat Mod-Autor Solano an der Performance der Mod geschraubt, sodass sie wenig Leistung frisst. Download und Installationsanleitung findet ihr unten.

Get the latest ReShade Version of "Framework (Running on ReShade)" at http://reshade.me/.
Copy the following items from the download in your main game directory where the game.exe is located.
▰ ReShade Folder
▰ ReShade.fx
▰ ReShade64.dll
Now you have ReShade in your main Game folder.
Open the folder called ReShade and copy the content over from the SH8 2.2 zip file you´ve downloaded here.
It should replace the .cfg files and also ask to integrate the CustomFX Folder.
Confirm all that.
Rename ReShade64.dll to d3d9.dll
Done!
Now you can start the game and enjoy ReShade with SH8 2.2!
I recommend to set brightness to 30% - 45%. But tastes are different of course.
Controls
F11 toggles the Ambient Light Effect and F12 the Color Scheme on and off.
Changing a color scheme

You´ve downloaded SH8 for GTA V already right? Now you copy or extract your chosen color scheme .png in to the following folder: ReShade/CustomFX/Textures.
Now go into the file at ReShade/CustomFX_settings.cfg and change the name of the palette at line 131
from
#define TuningColorLUTDstTexture "SH8_2.png"
to
#define TuningColorLUTDstTexture "your chosen color scheme.png"
and save the file. Done!
Retab or start the game and ReShade should reload itself and apply the new scheme immediately.
To toggle the palette use F12.
