The end has come.

After locating Steven Ryker, whose existence was kept secret after being forced to eliminate President Vance, Jake Stone brought him to the New Horizon base to reveal an invaluable secret to the rest of the team: the location of Manny Armstrong.

Steven was adamant that a recent discovery of a high Procassium level was detected, but the reading was the likes of which had never been seen before. Confident this had to be another serum user, which would undoubtedly be Manny as he is the only known serum user left alive, recommended to seek him out. He may be their last hope, as only Enhanced may be the only force on the planet capable of standing a chance against the sinister Lord Xander.

Since Manny's existence has been widely unknown for the past few decades, the only possible explanation for his mysterious departure was that he may have mastered the ability to mask his Procassium signature. However, he would very likely be searching for the Osmosis Device as well, since the parts for it are highly radioactive and everyone on Earth is searching for them.

Once a possible reading was found, Jake took his brother Carter and Gordon to seek out this mystery. Upon their arrival, however, they found themselves ambushed by a swarm of infected. Moments before their inevitable demise, they were saved by an incredible turn of events: Manny himself had arrived.

Utilizing his Enhanced-based abilities to manipulate fire at-will, Manny easily dispatched the opposing threat. In addition, he had obtained the last part of the Osmosis Device. With this crucial cargo in-hand, the team was able to safely deliver it back to their base.

Their much-needed victory was short-lived, however, as Xander devised a plan to force them to redeliver the part back to him: by using Justin DeShaun, still under his control, as bait to lure them out.

To send the message himself, Xander demonstrated a new ability he recently learned: telepathically communicating with other Enhanced. His target was Carter, and made it clear he would dispose of Justin without hesitation unless the Osmosis part was put back in his possession.

Once a high trace of Procassium was discovered, the team, now with Manny assembled, sought to rescue the captive Justin. They were overwhelmed with the sheer number of infected waiting for them, however, and Justin was willing to take his own life as leverage to force them to hand the part back over since he was still under Xander's control.

With a newly-brewed serum Gordon created, originally designed to tranquilize a serum-user that was previously used on Alex, Carter managed to inject Justin with it to temporarily restore his mind back to its normal state. With the original team back together, they were able to easily dispatch any remaining infected forces that stood in their path. That is, until an Omega zombie arrived.

After a harrowing battle, Carter and Manny were able to defeat the Omega by discovering their power increases exponentially when used simultaneously, and after Gordon used a remaining Gene missile to severely weaken the powerful foe.

Once reunited at the New Horizon, James and Maia also shortly returned after assembling as many allies across the globe as they could. Xander would interfere once again, by communicating with Carter telepathically. But this time, Xander made a threat much more cruel than before: he had found Carter's former wife Maryl, and threatened to eliminate her unless Carter delivered the final Osmosis part back to him.

In a panic, Carter took the part back to Xander without hesitation, and now the Device would be ready to be fully assembled.

Back at the New Horizon, Katherine had rejoined the team and they discussed their plan for a final assault on Xander and his forces. But then, Jake requested a secret meeting with Carter, Manny, and James. It was then that Jake revealed a shocking truth: James is immune to Procassium.

With this in mind, their plan would be to to utilize James's immunity by injecting his DNA into the Osmosis Device, preventing Procassium from overtaking the world.

Despite this plan they had discussed, the following day of which the battle of humanity would commence, Jake Stone was nowhere to be found. Instead, he confronted Xander himself and made one last call to his friends and family. He gave an emotional farewell, before Xander murdered him in cold blood.

With the Device fully assembled, and Jake Stone gone, it may take a miracle for humanity to succeed in what will be the greatest battle of their lives...
