Hey there, this is KingVector11 with a discussion on the new exploits going on in GTA Online that either scares, or annoys players, in GTA Online.

This is the $-99,999,999 Bounty Exploit.

It happens when you get a notification saying:

"[Player Name] survived the $-99,999,999 bounty you placed on them."


The only good news I have for all you inexperienced players, is that if it doesn't affect your own bank account as bounties should, you should be fine.
The only worst thing you should be worried about now is Lester just calling you stating that the bounty you placed on someone (though you didn't really) has survived. Imagine tryna PvP someone and you get a Lester calling you, or even in a friendly PvP, or just shooting cops on the street for the fun of it, until Lester decides it's a good idea to.. y'know..

Until Rockstar Games looks into this issue and hopefully these modders and their mod menus do not find an exploit bypass in Rockstar's weak securities that would actually affect your bank account, the best thing you can do as a player is to leave GTA Online until the issues are resolved and stated by Rockstar Games that it is resolved, or to keep reporting this issue to Rockstar Feedback / Rockstar Support, regardless if you get a response from Tier 1 or Tier 2 support who cares only so much about your words compared to Tier 3, who actually really does the best they can for you and the community.
