I recently uploaded a load times comparison on the main channel for all seven current GTA platforms: https://youtu.be/w4IFuucL58k (updated version here: https://youtu.be/QSFYV75aYxA). The biggest takeaway from that was how badly GTA Online Invite Only sessions loaded on PC, being exceptionally longer than even base PS4 & XB1.

Unknown to me, at the same time a user known as T0ST wrote an article about how he managed to cut loading times significantly with some simple workarounds after a lot of digging: https://nee.lv/2021/02/28/How-I-cut-GTA-Online-loading-times-by-70/. Since that article began to get some traction it caught the attention of Rockstar who confirmed its findings and have now implemented the fix identified by T0ST, in addition to awarding him $10,000 (in real life, not in game) for finding it.

Since I had the footage from just before the patch, I figured it was worth throwing together this video to show how the load times have improved. Exactly the same machinery, only a few weeks apart, before and after the patch was implemented. For all the details on the testing see the aforementioned video on the main channel, and keep an eye over there for an up to date version of that video soon (although it's only PC Invite Only sessions that are affected).
