GTA SA Special Vehicle Guide: DP Leviathan
In this Video, I show how to obtain the DP Leviathan from "Interdiction" with failing the Mission as it's the only way to get it. After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still there as well as showing the DP property.
Prerequisites Needed: a Dune stored on San Fierro Impound, a Minigun with at least 800 bullets, and a AK-47/M4 rifle.
Hardest special vehicle in GTA San Andreas ever! Seriously, anything else is easy compared to this. Luck and patience are extremely required to this. So be prepared!
Once you enter the marker on Arco del Oeste, equip the Minigun to destroy the two Mavericks. Then head to the direction the two reinforcements are coming and gradually shot the first one without destroy it, so then destroy the other Maverick and destroy the last reinforcement. Here where the first annoying part of the quest takes place, as basically we need to make the first Maverick reinforcement go away. Tooked me time to understand this, but for it to work out, you have to destroy both Mavericks that appeared with the Leviathan at the same time. If you destroyed only one, it won't work, as the incoming Maverick won't go away and you will need to restart the mission. Once you finally got that part right and the Maverick is away, use the Minigun to reduce the Leviathan's health to minimal, then change to a AK/M4 and shot one bullet per time until the Leviathan starts to spin around. Once it lands you must enter it, which won't be easy as that thing will be spinning around like crazy. I got lucky in the video as its stopped to spin for a moment, which can happen but is rare. You have to be careful there as that stupid thing can start to spin again. Once you finally get inside the Leviathan, you must take it to the front of the San Fierro Impound Garage. You will be with two stars wanted level, so careful to not fly too low when passing the bridge near the SFPD to not get shot by a police biker. At the Impound is where the second annoying part of the quest comes is, which requires you being super fast and have a lot of luck. The reason for it is because once you get to the front of the Impound Garage, eventually the Maverick will come after you. You must be inside the Impound before that happen, as that way the Maverick won't shoot the Leviathan and instead will fly away again. Once inside the Impound, enter the Dune and head outside. Try to kill all cops on the way out, so they don't destroy the Dune and ruin the quest. Once outside, push the Leviathan to the entrance Impound where it falls down the hill. The reason why this second part rely on luck is because once the Maverick fly again, he might crash somewhere and destroy himself. That can happen any moment once inside the Impound, which is very frustrating at this point. If that don't happen and you succeed in getting the Leviathan down the Impound, quickly have the Minigun equipped and destroy the Leviathan to fail the mission. Then push the wreck to the Impound zone to restore it. If you killed the cops earlier, they won't bother you here. Now here game throw another bullshit at you, which is the random vehicles appearing inside the zone. You must get rid of them as they can ruin the process of restoring the Leviathan. Once that is done and the Leviathan is inside the zone, you must leave while looking at it. Now here is a important difference between mobile and other platforms. On any other platforms besides Mobile, you can close the zone to restore the Leviathan, while on Mobile you must leave the Impound at all as Impound work different there. I decided to not check it once I left the Impound as I was afraid of the Impound discarding it with random vehicles. I suggest you do the same and go save the game before checking it just to be safe. If you had patience and lucky with all this madness bullshit, the Leviathan will be there restored successfully.
