GTA SA Special Vehicle Guide: EC/EM Conversion (1 of 4)
Welcome to my Special Vehicle Guide for GTA SA! This Video will show you how to convert ANY Vehicle CJ can drive into EC/EM (Exclusive Color / Exclusive Modification) from "The Green Sabre" with passing the Mission. Exclusive Color means the Vehicle's Color can never be found in traffic or parked, nor can the Color be acquired from a Pay and Spray, no matter how many times you respray it. Exclusive Modification is referring to a Modification on the Vehicle Model that normally wouldn't be there. In regards to this EC/EM Bloodring Banger, the Exclusive Modification would be everything done in the Transfender because you can't even drive a Bloodring Banger into a Mod Garage under normal circumstances and modify it, period.
Where Things Take Place in the Video:
0:45 - 7:10 - Beginning and passing "The Green Sabre" while acquiring a Mod Menu from Transfender and also regaining the normal game view by buying the Angel Pine Safehouse and then entering and exiting it
7:15 - 13:30 - Going on foot back to a Garage that contains the Vehicle(s) I want to convert into EC/EM (in this case the Santa Maria Beach Garage in Los Santos to convert a Bloodring Banger)
13:35 - 14:45 - Entering the Vehicle I want to convert and converting it into EC/EM form by selecting Colors and Vehicle Mods within Transfender before exiting Transfender with the EC/EM Vehicle
14:50 - 16:10 - Taking the EC/EM Bloodring Banger back to a Garage
16:50 - 18:55 - After saving the game, reloading the Save and checking on the EC/EM Bloodring Banger to show it off
***The Method I show in the Video will work for EVERY Platform and Version out there for GTA SA.
Before beginning, you should make sure you have Satchel Charges in your Inventory as they are mandatory for this to work! For instance, you must park a MISSION IMPORTANT Vehicle (like the Sabre) on top of ONE Balla and keep him alive until the very end like I show in the Video. Then, park ANOTHER MISSION IMPORTANT Vehicle (like the Pony) in front of the other Vehicle and place a Satchel Charge on it. Note that you want to time detonating the Satchel Charge perfectly so the Balla dies and you drive into the Red Marker inside the Transfender. If everything went to plan, you'll see the next Cutscenes (let them play out at first before pressing anything), the Mission will pass, and you'll be in Angel Pine (now you can press the Sprint Button again), and still have the Mod Menu from Transfender on your screen!
You should also put a MARKER on the Safehouse in Angel Pine BEFORE beginning the Mission so you know exactly where you're running to! Theoretically, entering and exiting the Ammunation or the Cluckin' Bell can also regain the normal view of the game, however, it messes up the actual EC/EM Conversion, so don't enter those by mistake!
You CAN convert up to FOUR Vehicles into EC/EM form that are inside the SAME Garage. In order to accomplish that, all you have to do is fully modify your Vehicle of choice, but then exit your Vehicle (you'll have a black screen and doing this blindly) and then enter another nearby Vehicle in your Garage and do the same process to it. Rinse and repeat until all four Vehicles are converted into EC/EM form and then fully exit the Transfender!
***IMPORTANT*** - Not all Vehicle Mods will work. It all depends on the Vehicle Model you're trying to modify as well as the actual Modifications you're selecting! For instance, I give the Bloodring Banger Hydraulics and Nitro, which works, but try that on a Motorcycle and the game will crash, so be careful!
***ANY TIME YOU SEE*** the "Mod Menu" on your screen after failing/passing a Mission, it ultimately means you not only can use it for an EC/EM Conversion, but also an AP Conversion and an EC Transfer Conversion, and all without OM0. With that said, whether OM0 is used or not, the EC/EM Conversion, AP Conversion, and EC Transfer Conversion still needs the Mod Menu in order to do it and it feels very cheap to me, so I don't recommend any of this stuff using Conversions for your main Save Files! Not to mention, there IS an OM0 Method for an EC/EM Conversion AFTER 100%, too. How about we just obtain Special Vehicles legit rather than converting them? Every time an EC/EM Conversion is used, it's in fact recorded in the Stats by the "Vehicle Modifications" Budget Stat.
As you can see, the Video is recorded on PS2. For some reason PS2 (even PS4, etc) has an issue with the glitchy screen as you see present in the Video when selecting Vehicle Mods! It doesn't happen on PC, for instance. However, if you get such a screen, just know what you're selecting will take time to actually go through. So don't start spamming buttons thinking what you're selecting isn't working because it is, there is just a lag.
