This video shows the difference between 1080P and 4K with an RTX 4090 in GTA V. It can be seen that a limit is being reached within the game engine, as performance difference between the two resolutions is very small. The RTX 4090 shines in 4K but would not be worth the upgrade for 1080P in this title.
