You can hold a call on foot by holding the Action key (default TAB) and in a vehicle by holding AltFire (called Secondary Fire in the settings menu). On bikes this is problematic when you have a weapon you can shoot with, since you will shoot continuously.

Patrick made me aware that using AltFire to hold calls in a vehicle was a thing in addition to holding it on foot with Action which was already used before.
