GTX 1070 vs GTX 1070 Ti - 4k Gaming Benchmarks - i5 8400 7 Games Tested
2234k ultra HD gaming benchmarks of the Nvidia GTX 1070 vs GTX 1070 Ti. In this video I will be pairing off my MSI GTX 1070 Aero against my new Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 TI A8G , i am pairing these graphics cards with an i5-8400 and 16GB of 3200mhz DDR4. The games I will be benchmarking today are, Shadow of War, Far Cry primal, Rise of The Tomb Raider, Assassins Creed Origins, Forza Motorsport 7, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Grand Theft Auto V.
As for how I have tested - All benchmarks are run 5 times and I average the scores from those benchmarks. what you are seeing on screen is the 6th benchmark recorded with Nvidia shadowplay and the latest drivers as of making this video.
As for the graphics cards - Putting this reference card up against a STRIX Advanced, is a little unfair so here is how both cards are setup. The Aero has been set to max power, temp, and fan speed in after burner; this is to help it maintain its max boost. The Strix has had it oc profile applied in GPU Tweak 2. my reason for applying this is because its a £500 triple fan Gpu and this profile can be turned on with a flick of a switch. Either way both cards still have plenty of room left for overclocking and I would expect the performance gap to remain if both are at max OC.
