Techspot dropped the BOMB today with Leaked GTX 1080Ti Specs. Considering from a Core perspective we're looking at ONLY a 7.5% gap between the GTX 1080Ti and the TITAN X(p). To hamper the GTX 1080Ti's performance Nvidia is pairing the GPU with GDDR5 Memory instead of the GDDR5X RAM used on both ther GTX 1080 and the TITAN X(p). The 1080Ti is launching at an odd time as Nvidia has no competition in the high end market, and this will obviously eat in to their TITAN sales. The use of slower RAM is just puzzling.
