Challenge the Horde is an amazing event with new skill tree options, premade bases and loads of action! But how do you get started? What skill points should you select and how should you design your base or fort for Challenge the Horde? In this video I am sharing my selection of skillpoints andd base design for the Challenge The Horde event in FortNite 5.0. My focus is on battle materials and a meta fort pyramid - because it works! I have loads of skill points from the first version of the Early Access Challenge the horde event, so my first three skill tree tiers are capped and I have some in the last tree. Besides sharing my base design for challenge the horde and my fortnite challenge the horde skill points, I am sharing gameplay from an endgame (twine peaks power) challenge the horde mission that we managed to complete 3 players mostly with hover bots, teddy towers, defenders and explosive weapons. Moving forward, I am likely going to play Fortnite challenge the horde as a demolitionist constructor due to the high amount of resources we are getting between waves. We had a nice ending wave with three awesome mini bosses and several waves filled with takers. We did not get any smasher waves and sploder waves, so nothing was hard or challenging in the first game i had in fortnite challenge the horde. Besides takers we had waves with Blasters though. The new storm effect is amazing and adds to the fun!
