The Great Jungle Wurm is a level 15 world boss located in Wychmire Swamp in Wychmire Swamp. You fight it at the end of the meta event, The Battle for Wychmire Swamp. I skipped the pre-event here unlike last time.

This boss is NOT to be confused with the event in Bloodtide coast, this is an easier and different one. They do look similar but this one only has one head and is only one single boss. I'd love to upload that one but well...It's a tall order last time I attempted it was a ghost town.

The main reason this one is interesting is since it hints at Mordremoth and this has been in the game for a while. Of course now we've seen and fought Mordremoth's minions but still, this one was nice foreshadowing.

Wisteria, a level 80 exotic focus is the rare item that some are after. That's one reason some folks may try to farm this boss but be sure to be level 80 if you are attempting to farm it since it won't drop if you are lower. The Wall of Thorns shield can also be found in this boss's chest too if you are lucky enough.
