There is still a lot of work that needs to be done to avoid the cycle of hack and slash in these types of games but the different unique skills for the weapons/environment helps otherwise it would be boring to play.

A lot more work needs to go into building abilities/more variation for it to be successful enough or have pure skill based APM on a FP/3rd P games such as Kings Avatar but we are still no where near that level of power/speed in gaming.
