Me (Axel Hunter) doing a no commentary and 2nd playthrough of the original "Guilty Gear" on (1998) for the PSX version. l play as chipp zanuff.

what's going on, my fighting game crew, this is axel here and this is actually the last fighting games playthrough video of 2021 and as also the last video of 2021. so, in the last time l actually played this for uploaded video in couple of weeks ago, l played as another shoto character in GG series, ky kiske.
alright today's this video: here's a full 2nd playthrough of the original "Guilty Gear" (1998) of me using american ninja character in GG series, chipp zanuff, because this character is actually really fun and l'm think it's probably the easiest character to used in every GG games right now, l actually really like chipp as the character.

Guilty Gear 1 subtitled "The Missing Link" in Japan, was released back in 1998, it's was exclusive to the PlayStation 1 system. and a year later in 2019, it was ported to the Nintendo Switch, PS4 & PC system.

Guilty Gear 1 is one of the most superb PS1 fighting game l have ever played as kid, and because l thought about doing a ton of the fighting games, but, haven't played guilty gear game before. and my favorite being guilty gear XX accent core series.

Guilty Gear 1 is set in 2D, similar to Street Fighter and KOF series, but is fast-paced and focuses more on the use of combo techniques. the game features 10 characters and three hidden characters. It uses a six-button layout: punch, kick, slash, H-slash, dust, taunts and respect. combat is one-on-one set in best-two-out-of-three rounds. It uses a "tension" gauge, akin to SF Alpha's super combo techniques, in which characters can input certain commands and activate special-moves called "Chaos Attacks". It also features an air-combo system, comparable to Marvel vs Capcom's "Aerial Rave", allowing combos to be performed on airborne opponents.

Guilty Gear 1 features instant kill techniques called "Destroyed Attacks", that can be activated after a Murder Outbreak attack successfully lands on an opponent, effectively ending the match. the game also has a feature called chaos Mode that is activated when a character's health is at the half-way point (yellow bar). A red aura will surround the character and he/she is able to perform unlimited chaos attacks.

overall, it's still enjoyable PS1 fighting game, the gameplay are absolutely great, the graphics is fucking amazing, the character roster is pretty good & the soundtrack is outstanding, even Guilty Gear Strive's soundtrack is one of my favorites in fighting game history. especially if you come straight from the classic retro GG games.

so l hope enjoy this 2nd playthrough on the original guilty gear series video for my channel, annnd l'm think that's pretty much end it, this is last video of 2021, so, thank you so much for those who have been with me since you know, since l've been starting to upload my fighting games and video games content, up to now l think before everyone had been something to me this year. l really do appreciate that so much, my fighting game crew and hopefully l have more fighting games content show you more fighting games release date schedule: first off, there's new DLC character for guilty gear strive which is baiken and it's recently coming out in late january 2022, l'm super exciting to see baiken in strive, and l will be there on next GG strive's character themes video on next year and l love that waifu so much. so, next one is gonna be KOF XV to come out in 2022, my fighting game crew. so l would definitely have some of watching open beta test matches and as well as more KOF XV's character trailers all the way, so stay tuned when once our february comes around, it would be dope. so, l'll looking forward to some character legacy show up and then bring back to them. so, once again, my fighting game crew, thank you so much for a amazing 2021, and you know, doing my YouTube fighting game crew support part and hopefully once again hopefully you guys enjoy this all game over compilation / retry animations, all the fightcade matches episodes, etc, l've been producing this whole ass year and uhhh yeah, so we'll see what happens in 2022.
